... but in Italy the ground is burning my running shoe's plastic exterior! We made the walk inside and around the caldera, and I must admit it was fascinating but relieving when we left.

A nice afternoon drive through Napoli's waterfront before returning home to another amazing homecooked supper completed the day. I am honored to sit at the Riccardi-Papa table and counted as family. How grateful I am to be amongst the brethren!

... was perfect for 6 folks and decorated so we felt like we really were in another place. It was fun as we had oriental umbrella and candles as the centerpiece, plus nice silk placements down the center of the tablecloth, then the beautiful combination of our dishes and chopsticks, lastly I had cut out some Japanese words in the Japanese calligraphy ( you know the ones where a beautiful symbol means "long life and health" stuff like that). ...
