Further down, I check out the Piazza di Popoli with its unusual cathedral which is a rotunda with a classical Roman pillared entrance and a huge, unsupported dome with a skylight in the center—quite an impressive structure… Then on down the road is another seaside castle, and this one is open—in fact, it’s like a mini city inside with ...

Kate you would have been in heaven, almost totally vegetarian and the best tomatoes, basil, cannelloni and eggplant I have tasted. Had to pass on dessert. Even home made wine. A nice afternoon drive through Napoli's waterfront before returning home to another amazing homecooked supper completed the day. I am honored to sit at the Riccardi-Papa table and counted as family. How grateful I am to be amongst the brethren!

It was fun as we had oriental umbrella and candles as the centerpiece, plus nice silk placements down the center of the tablecloth, then the beautiful combination of our dishes and chopsticks, lastly I had cut out some Japanese words in the Japanese calligraphy ( you know the ones where a beautiful symbol means "long life and health" stuff like that). ...
