... journey back up the hill to the Mountain station, grabbed some peach iced tea and took the next cable car back down. The journey was beautiful (and much faster) going down, and the bonus was there were only a couple people in the cable car so we could walk around and catch all the amazing views on the journey back to the Middle station. ... I got situated, put on our hiking boots and set out for a walk to the end of the village towards the tram that would take us up the mountain to the salt mines. But before we could take the path to the tram, we decided a little lunch was in order: beer and of course a sausage dog complete with … curry powder. Tasty, tasty, tasty.

... The caverns were magnificent, some nearly as big as a football field. Ice on the floors, walls, even an ice tunnel which we had to clamber through. No photos were allowed, so the picture is one from a postcard. One where I was particularly proud of myself for not freaking out! Dont do well underground, or tight spaces. We were 1km within the mountain, and 400m underground, and at that point, climbing DOWN the ice tunnel. ...
