          ... was our undoing. What we should have learned is that when you come up against teams of superior ability you must set your stall out to get a result, at all costs. The other important point is that you can have the quickest players in the tournament but if they can't play it is a pointless exercise.

          ... in this reserve we saw a huge cement watch tower and several other animals including one huge Capybara.

          The next day we went to visit the Oscar Niemeyer museum which was a huge structure in the shape on an eye that had on display the Escher exhibition. Later that day we went to visit Leaonardo at he offices of Endeavor in Curitiba. The office was located in a huge building sponsored by FINEP and SEBRAE

          Arriving in the blazing heat of the late afternoon in Pantanal, I was expecting wetlands. Apparently a drought this year, a lot of the ponds have dried up (which also means less mozzies - yay. We also learnt that mozzies like black clothing which I'll remember forever). Our accommodation for the next few nights is a farm with horses, outdoors hammock area instead of couches and a tv, outdoor showers ...
