Coming home..
... of me and every time he was looking for someone because he felt alone you could hear him coming from long ago with his amazingly funny duck noises. The guys even took him to some food stores across the streets and he slowly followed them and all the girls came over to look for him. A rather good weekend
... was to have a shower - it was very hot, involved a lot of physical exertion and was pretty muddy (barefoot going up/down the access slope). It was very nice to wash off all the sweat! Could have gone to see the end of a Bob Marley tribute act up the road, but instead ended up cycling down to the supermarket for some well-deserved beers. It would be rude not to seeing as I have the bike for the week, have to make the most of it!

One (and a bit) months in
... with loudspeakers tied to their roof-racks playing lairy music and I'm assuming the various reasons why you should vote for that person. Another feature of the election was the drinking ban. From midnight to midnight you couldn't buy alcohol in bars (or supermarkets I think). Taken very seriously! I think thats about all worth reporting from the past few days, we had some rain yesterday, The temperature in the day also dropped below 30 degrees which is pretty rare.

A bit of work!
Here thanks to IAESTE - working in the Physical Chemistry department of UNESP (occasionally). Staying at a 'Republica' which is essentially student accommodation here. We're pretty stable at 9 girls now - they don't do things small here.
Been up to a lot so far, they have SESC centres here which are pretty much leisure centres on steroids. Free music at least once a week - so far we've seen samba bands, ...
