... tunnels behind Horseshoe Falls. Portals under the falls were like open windows framing the massive sheet of water crashing down. The end of the tunnel led to observation decks at the base of the falls. Amazing, close-up connection to the incredible waterfall wonder!
... in search of a Rainforest Cafe which was supposed to be there. We didn't have any luck in finding what we were looking for, but got to explore another part of Niagara that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The main street of this section was akin to a fun fair with stores like side-shows selling all manner of junk-food and brightly coloured souvenirs.

We then headed up to the Southend on Sea like area of Niagara. This area is filled with amusement arcades, bars, wax works, a ferris wheel and of course Mini Putt golf! We had some dinner and got some free credits for the arcade games and had some good fun. We played a Deal or No Deal game and a basketball game and some others. ... it left from the Floral Showhouse and the best place to park was at Dufferin Islands as it was free. All the other parking areas were $5.00 an hour (Mum and Dad are looking after us again). Was a bit tricky finding the road at first but we found it parked the car. This nature area is popular with hikers and bird watching plus explore several quiet and secluded small islands connected by footbridges and paths. So peaceful ...
... so I headed back there suffering from mild hypothermia I reckon. I changed over the memory cards and headed out to a place called the Outback Steakhouse for tea. Very nice it was too. I went back down to the falls to take some photos of them all lit up by colourful lighting. It was very romantic. Well it would have been, if I had the wife in tow. Again, I was starting to feel the cold, so I headed back to the hotel and turned in for the night. Over and out ...
