... needed extra cash! I'm being decidedly squeezed here, by the gaggle of high spirited boys, I'll tolerate the lack of personal space, assuming it's a cultural thing rather than blatant hustle for my table! Now they're singing! Someone dropped a glass...it bounced...the room hushed...it bounced again and survived...a ripple of 'happy birthday' rippled through the group and now its tenor voiced football chants that reverberates around the room like Buddhist ...

During the night the ship changed course for Mallorca in order to carry out a medical evacuation of a passenger. No word just rumours of the condition of the passenger evacuated. ... a couple of hours wandering the streets. it is a very beautiful and clean city with lovely narrow lanes and nice shops. On our way back to the shuttle we stopped at a street side restaurant and enjoyed A glass of sangria while checking the wifi. The shops here suggest a well to do clientele and that is supported by the number and quality of the pleasure craft in the Marina. The Cathedral looked a magnificent site but unfortunately we did not have time to visit. ...

... The road down was incredibly steep and winding and we were all a little on edge throughout the descent... But James did very well indeed, and we made it down and back up again without any problems (just a few white knuckles and sharp gasps!). The port at the bottom was pretty, but we didn't stop long and headed back up to Deia. Another pretty hillside village, Deia is frequented by a few different celebrities when they want to escape... ...
