I already have 2 sponsors in the US, and hopefully, there will be a few in the UK. E-mails to my non-work contacts are in order, I think.

1 Jahr Südamerika, jetzt ist es fast soweit. Nur noch 3 wochen bis zum Start.
Das meiste, bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten, ist erledigt. Die letzten 3 Tage habe ich mir ne Homepage zusammengebastelt(www.halfcap.de), ich kann nicht glauben das es Menschen gibt, die das zu ihrem Beruf machen. Auf meiner Homepage findet Ihr einen Link zu diesem Blog, ein Fotoalbum und Gästebuch.

... University. I helped them assemble some Ikea like furniture for her apartment. We also rode on there hanging train system which was pretty interesting. We then drove out to there small town called Ramsbeck. It is in a very beautiful area with the traditional german houses it looked just like a postcard. We watched little britian in the evening ...

Another foggy morning, and I really do not want to leave. However, we are off. Me back to Houston, Claudia back to work. A big resounding "BOO" from both of us! Germany was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone ---> great food ...

... the Rathaus again, and started to go in and out of some shops. I bought a shirt at Jack and John's, thereby perfecting my "Euro Look". We went to a cafe for some coffee and an ENORMOUS piece of cake. We each got one - my favorite was the Schwarzwelderkirsch (Black Forest Cherry Cake) but the other cake with raspberries was good as well. You can tell which one I liked the best because I remember ...

... t too exciting, but it was nice to be doing normal day-to-day things with Claudia - pushing the shopping cart around, picking out what you want for dinner. Much better than online chatting . . .
Claudia made some goulash with pasta for dinner (YUM!) and I started to organize my things for the trip back. We realized that two weeks had gone by far too quickly. Tomorrow will be a day in Paderborn!!

... for our troubles to buy some food, but they didn't tell us that it had to be used all at once. So, about 45 minutes before we were going back in through security, we went to Starbucks. We got some coffee and a hazelnut chocolate muffin (I will just abbreviate fat American from this point on with FA, so the muffin was for the FA), but it only used up about 10 Euros. So we got two bottles of apple juice and a bottle of water ...

... climbing hills! In Hilchbach I find my way to a Youth Hostel, no beds available, but no problem all I would like is a shower and a place to pitch my tent. Not done normally but the owner seems to like me, so all good. That evening is spend with a German couple and the owner and a bottle of fine wine, not bad after a day of hard work ;-))

... It was really nice to meet the family, even though, I don't know or understand any German they were very hospitable! We spent two days in Koln or Colonge sightseeing. It was really nice town with a massive cathedral. It has some great views of they city from the top of the 502 stairs to the top of the spire. It was hard work to get to the top, but going down the spiral staircase was even more difficult because it made me so dizzy!
