Norbert took me on a nostalgic tour of my early childhood to the age of 11, visiting the town centre, the primary schools that I had attended and 57 Duererstrasse - my former home!

After almost missing my train from Herzogenrath to Gladbeck, I was relieved to experience a Regional train which is generally far more crowded with local commuters. It was a joy to be reunited with my cousin Brunhild (from my Mother's side) in the nigh darkness.

... of schnitzel you would like. I really enjoyed Schnitzelburg, so much in fact that after polishing off my schnitzel I helped the girls to finish off theirs. I'm not sure if it is the schnitzel, or if it is the sausage (from the pig), or if it is the beer but I seem to have picked up a slight ailment since we have been in Germany, I believe it is known as German Gut.
