... idea at some point, the area was covered in poo and smelt. I was not happy so we trudged back uphill to another ski lift only to find the same. At this point I was getting a bit grumpy. Luckily the rain stopped so we found a poo free spot and had lunch.
We retraced our steps downhill with the rain following us and it has rained on and off since we got back – no change there. We leave tomorrow to head further north and to more mountains.

spot. After lunch, we started our descent and got soaked by a heavy shower.
Once again, the thunder started as we were about 20 minutes from the campsite but luckily we avoided the heavy rain.

We went cycling today. There is a cycle path from Lago di Ledro to Lake Garda which we thought we would try. We planned to have lunch in Riva del Garda and if we had time, cycle along ...
... we waited only 5 minutes and then the guy came out, chucked me the keys and told me to get into the gleaming red machine!
A lifetimes dream was about to come true, and after a brief rundown and strapping on the 6 point harness I hit the start button and 585 horses screamed into life! What a sound! Ferraris are all semi automatic these days and with it set on Auto, I inched out of the park and onto the street, and set off for my 10 minutes of heaven! Left hand drive, ...

Later when we returned to Riva Del Garda we dined at a restaurant overlooking the little harbour by our hotel, enjoying the very relaxed atmosphere of the town, and also thoroughly enjoying being able to enjoy bowls of amazing homemade pasta, washed down with local wine for about $20 each! The food and drink here is way cheaper than we expected, I guess we are lucky that it is not high season yet!
We head for Austria but don't quite make it as we decided to liberate ourselves from the main road and head up a quiet road and go for a walk beside a lake. Murphy's rule, we rock up to the Tourist office and it's shut for Siesta, onwards regardless we go.
