      ... around the trailer is a must. Well, today, we noticed that the bumper on the trailer was "broken" at the weld. Seems like our bikes on the bumper were too heavy, or the constant "bouncing" because of the rough roads was a no no. So... What's the solution? Take the bikes off. Good thing we had room in the truck. That is where the bikes will now travel for the rest of our trip. Had a good night sleep after all ...

      ... a bottle of wine and stepped out the back door on the slick granite step we have and managed to bend my big toe back and ouch! Fortunately I had my orthopedic boot in storage and was able to put it on to protect the toe until we could see what was the extent of my damage.

      Got everything loaded and said our goodbyes to Ella Daye and we were off heading down the road to Santa Fe.

      Welp it's 5am and we are off! Woke up to realize my(Shelby) wisdom teeth are coming in whoopee so we will be making a pit stop for some Orajel on the way. But at any rate we are headed that way very early, in fact we got to the donut store before the donuts were even made. There really should be some law about having to be up this early, ...

      ... Records museum. After a quick, yet thorough walk through at the Alamo we took a tour on the river and got a good deal of information about the history of San Antonio and finished up in time to check out and move on toward Austin.
      On the way down to San Antonio we passed a huge sign that said SNAKE FARM and we decided to stop by on our way back north. The "farm"" had an extensive collection of snakes from all over ...
