... Today we were both just trying to prop ourselves up and stay awake however and I'm thinking we'll likely drop into a little slumber in a bit here. Boarding cards have been passed out and all I can hear is the hum of the airplane which means that baby I heard earlier must be asleep as well. This is good news as my ear plugs are helpfully in my carry-on luggage stowed away up above. Apparently we have a little goody bag of socks, eyemask and earplugs though so not ...

After we had explored the market we walked down to the waterfront and saw the ferris wheel and the market area down there.
We then walked around Downton for a while looking at the shops before returning back to the house and going out for a meal with James and Desiree
... spend much more time there next time.
I was hesitant at first to part with the 300reals to do the hang gliding
but in the end I am glad I did. It was quite an experience and well
worth the money. Standing under the Corcovado Christ Statue and looking
out over Rio was also a sight that everyone should see. The sugarloaf
cable car ride was nice but if you can only do one, it is a distant
second to the view from high atop Corcovado.
