... we were privileged to meet another great young actor, Wayne T. Carr. Wayne has played off Broadway and many regional theaters, and once made a movie in Slovenia called Who's Afraid of the Big Black Wolf? In the afternoon, we saw him star as Pericles in an amazing production in the new Thomas Theater.

The Thomas is one of the new "black box" theaters--it's literally a big black box where seats can ...

I am definitely aware that horrible things CAN happen in foreign countries, but I also think it's usually when you blatantly play the dumb, tourist girl card, which I will avoid at all costs. I am confident in my street smarts. Thank you Jack and Deb McCauley. ... Jambo but we survived OK.

The CA 1 has to be one of the great drives of the world on a par with similar ones in Australia, Canada and Scandinavia. It took us to the Mendocino Coast and the town of Fort Bragg (not to be confused with its perhaps more famous, maybe infamous, namesake in North Carolina, home to many US Army Special Ops outfits). We bought some diesel there, even getting a bit of a discount on the pump price on presentation of our previous Safeway ...
