This morning we headed out to Mandurah which is about 55kms from where we are staying. It was supposed to be 23 degrees today but somehow it didn't get that warm. Although it was sunny at the caravan park in Coogee Beach it was overcast and windy at Mandurah.

We now even have an extension of the van of a little side tent which makes the van twice the size - we can put it on the front or back so we have shade from the sun but also enough room to get dressed outdoors etc. The weather is still nice here - must admit a little cooler in the evening but still probably much nicer than at home. ... New Norcia beer, as of course Benedictine monks make wine and beer!! The tour of Australia's only Monastic town was very interesting. Their bread is now sold in Woolworths, very tasty. For $7 we camped the night next to the monks, and then moved on to Guilderton, a very pretty spot on the ocean where the Moore River meets the Indian Ocean, a beautiful vista from our van. Back to the camp for some lunch and some washing and packing up. Unfortunately our time in Perth is coming to an end. Dinner tonight was a catch up with Andrea one of Kellie's neighbors from Bundoora. It was great to catch up and find out how things were going for her.
