... rain and trees falling down we got a bit bored but we made do with coconut jewellery, DVDs and fishing. The staff were amazing and so happy and friendly so we sat and drank Kava with them most evenings. We played drinking games with a big group of Danish people and I even tried on the performers outfits after the amazing night show. ... some action so we took out a double canoe to circumnavigate the island. We had to paddle out through the reef that surrounds our island but not go out beyond the outer reef. We started to spot a few very brightly coloured patches in the ocean and were cynical about it being rubbish. Modriki is still a deserted island owned by the tribe from Monu island next door and where we paid our second visit of the day. We sat in the timber and palm camp used by the film crew for morning briefings before going over to Modriki to film.
