... going for a snorkel, back to the beach for a nap, lunch (a beer or 2), beach for a nap, snorkel, then the daily volleyball tournament followed by dinner and drinks before we went to bed. It really was a hard few days! The biggest highlights here though were the snorkelling and our very first dives since getting our Padi licences in Brazil. The coral around barefoot is incredible, so we had not only huge shoals of fish just off the beach, but for diving we had a choice ...

The taxi driver didn't have any change - so he said - so he got $6 ...

I had briefly considered getting a taxi driver to take me somewhere interesting but I had already done the WWII site tour near the airport and a beach trip would leave me with wet things to consider. So I nixed that idea.

After I packed up most everything, I edited the Vanuatu Summit Garden photos - that means that ...

Naviti Island to Nadi

... islands. As we anchored in the bay Ryan and I noticed two reef sharks gliding through the clear waters. We ate lunch while we looked longingly at the 7 day cruisers pack a picnic lunch for another beach day on shore. Our incredibly friendly and kind crew sang a Fijian farewell song to our before we boarded the Catamaran back to the mainland. I had to put my sunglasses on as I started to shed a few tears much to Ryan's embarrassment. ...
