... class, even b made himself a bangle! The first boat arrived so off we went down to the beach to wave off Gloria and Julie and welcome the new guests, 3 Brits and 3 Chinese, b was no longer the only male tourist lol. We then got asked to pack up our room as these guests had to check in. We packed up and then headed to the tip of the point to go snorkel. Was quite an impressive snorkelling point, they had the shallow part and then a big part that dropped off in to the deep blue ...

When you look at beautiful photos of lush landscapes from Machu Picchu in Peru, safaris in Africa, castles in France and Scotland, beaches in Bali, everywhere in New Zealand, etc., you think "Oh what a beautiful place! I would love to go there! That looks so cool!" And while it IS cool, and you SHOULD go there, you never think about HOW you're going to get there...

... no pizza. The sea was rough so the pontoon was lurching around - the pontoon is not near land. It is out at sea so is very exposed. The only section sheltered from the high wind comprised four huge daybeds. I flopped on a daybed but the stench of cheesy feet and stinky unwashed sofa covers made me prefer the deck chair exposed to sun and wind. I lay there with my sulu over my head and body to protect me from the wind. The sulu had to be tucked under my body ...

... a huge part of the culture here and when someone come bearing a gift of it, it is usually a sign of something really good or really bad.
