... it doesn't really have a great deal of shops apart from cafes and small independent shops which gives it a nice feel. Only a short walk away is Footscray which has all of the larger shops you would want with regards to supermarkets, home stores etc. We ventured out to Footscray pretty much immediately to pick up some bits for the house and food but when we tried to pay we realised neither of us had our cards.
