    Hotel sign outside needs to be looked at at letters missing and from direction we came from missed it completely.

    We left Kaikoura early and set off via the look out point, great views over the bay's. We then went to the south of the bay and saw the Whale boat we did not get on!     The hotel was very friendly and had two great restaurants. I ate some breakfast and it came out fast. I ate quickly and then returned to my hotel room packed my gear up and headed outside to catch a cab that was ordered for me.     We have both been on tenderhooks today as our car listing finishes tonight and we are waiting for calls.

    We decided last night to go on a tour of Christchurch for an hour this morning. It set off at 10am. The driver was a chap called Steve and he was great. He told us lots of interesting bits and explained the damaged that had been caused by the earthquakes.
