    In 1996 work on a new road outside of Lod, Israel uncovered a spectacular set of mosaics dating from the 3rd century. Part of a roman villa, the central mosaic is the largest and best preserved from anywhere in the Levant. This central section was lifted and preserved and is now a touring exhibition, supported by the Rothschild Foundation.     ... Best hot chocolate so far!) we wandered around Trafalgar Square watching all sorts of street performers. We headed home for dinner and booked some more of our accommodation until the new year. That night we headed to Russell square to catch up with Emily Ross after her contiki. The pub we were at was the pub either at the beginning or end for contiki trippers and safe to say they were a rowdy bunch! ( think we are getting old haha).
