So, fresh off from Kyoto we headed our way to Nagoya with only objective to a Sumo competition!
We were lucky to get tickets months in advance because these events are very popular in Japan and sell out quickly. There are 6 tournaments per year in Japan, 3 in Tokyo, and 3 in the nearby provinces, including Nagoya, where the year's competition starts.

... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town. We had a beautiful tea not far from there. When we got back from tea we had another spa, getting used to it (in the nude) still lots of laughs. It's now 9.00 and ready for bed. ... it, quickly figured out trains and got us there. Now onto Incheon Airport (have we mentioned it's the nicest airport in the world?) for a 4 hour layover and back home. E plays in the airport, dumbstruck by the South Korean parade in the airport and generally has a great time. H and I guzzle beers. Back to Seattle and Dottie!
