We departed rainy Sikeston this morning about 10. It had started to rain about 6 and was just sort of sprinkling when I got up. Drove to Memphis to see Elvis's house. Driving to it, I recognized it immediately. The tour was great. The house is much smaller than you would expect. The property and grounds are beautiful.
We then went over to Beale St. And ate lunch at B.B. Kings. May go back tomorrow night for the live music.
We then drove around downtown. In 30 minutes we drove in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

We continued the back highways to Tupelo, Ms. birthplace of Elvis. Beautiful area. Checked out his home and church. Took a pic of the statue, Elvis at 13 and the family car that they drove to Memphis where he became the King.
