The grader dug all the **** out of the ditch and then we had a big rain storm.
The next day you could not get up the road but things have improved since then.

... feed hopper. We then cleared more trees to give us a bigger working
area for the larger equipment. We also moved the mine trailer and storage shed.
May 17, we dug a new recirculating pond with our new link belt excavator.
We then filled the recirculating pond with water. Elaine practiced on

Big Al Pelletier from Alberta came by for a visit and decided to stay a week to help us..Wow what a great guy.. He drove the dump truck for a week hauling paydirt , Looked after fueling the water pumps ,kept the trommel hopper clear of big rocks and helped with the clean ups.THANKS Al

... that were not much more than shacks. The yards were unkempt and the place looked abandoned. We did not see a single person was kind of spooky. Circling the store and the ramshackle community center, were about 25 totems standing guard over the village. They were intriguing and called me for a closer study. ... accidentally cut off 3 middle toes on one foot. Ray had just returned from the claim and
noticed all the commotion. He put his new first aid to work. We stabilized sheila and
called for an ambulance from Quesnel. She is sore but is healing.
We help her where we can. We now are back home to do things we need to do, until
the next trip out to the Caribou. ELAINE
