Launched at 0800, surprisingly enough. Nice ride over the Coquihalla, just slightly cool. Clover was smelling good in the sunshine. The Glide breathes nicely at 140kph (they raised the speed limit don't ya know?) Always a good ride from Merritt to Spences Bridge (scenic and winding). Saw a few Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. Up the #1 canyon, Spences Bridge to Ashcroft was pretty. Traffic heavy northbound but they have 4 laned it in places. Found out ...

I have encouraged others at the campsite at Roosterridge to have a walking group to do laps around the site.When I can't get into town for swimming this helps to get the exercise in.

... squirrel NO that's a joke but we did see a number of squirrels some a bit flat on the roadside and others still quite active. Lillooet was interesting as it was similar looking to some of the country we saw around Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. They apparently have quite mild winters and low rainfall. Woke up at an early 7.30am just in case there was a ball game on today, had breakfast and then headed off to the visitor centre. It was a bit on the wet side so we checked our email and then drove up the highway to the turn off to Barkerville.
