We consider this past season a success in many ways.
Our new equipment performed the jobs required of them (a few break downs
throughout the summer.)
We had a plan as to what we wanted to accomplish this year and were pleased
with how smoothly the year went.
We surpassed our goals and will set new ones for next year.

... Well things are going very well at the mine. We have been working downstream
at the hill and are changing direction going upstream at the hill at the swamp to
see what that brings. Fall is the best time for this location while things are drier.
We hope to continue mining this month until the weather cools down too much
and we have freeze up issues.

... br> trailer alone. They continue to come back and build their mud nests above our
door, or speakers or lights under the awning. Ray had placed cardboard
over everything a few times, taken them down after a week, thinking they
must have moved on, but back they come. Our beautifully decorated trailer
sits as we travel home for a visit.
We will be travelling back soon to continue on our journey for a big summer push.

... falling nicely into place. I have had 3 lessons on the little excavator
and think I can do it. My job will be to help place paydirt into the trommel.
We would like to thank Doug for helping us set up the equipment while he was here.
Thanks Ronnie for helping with the dump truck as well.
We have returned from a short trip home, and I have brought back flowers to
brighten up our trailer campsite.

... just off of 1300 road .Only 12 KM from our camp.
Looks like good potential in a few years.
It was a good 10 days and now going back to the Cariboo on Thursday for the final push and then close it up for the winter. Hope to be there until Sept 25th or so. RAY

Yes the area is spelled Cariboo, not Caribou. Have to set that straight or it will bug me.
