... that controls the security system.. so we bypassed it and it now it runs great----lost two days work..
We found a good old river channel that we dug on in the last two weeks and will stay on it in the spring.. big rocks and some good looking pay dirt.

what learned???------Don't bring a knife to a gun fight

next year to do list 1---bigger water pond,,,water got too dirty and cost us gold in the sluice box

We returned to cottonwood area july 26th after a run home. on saturday nite we went to a country music festival in Cinema about 30 mile north of quesnel.
next day i welded a 1in ring at the top end of the trommel to help keep water from splashing out.

The bobcat decided to stop running and we had to haul it into town for repairs..$1500 later its fixed.. fuel pump and injectors..

I also welded more paddles into ...

... it running again. we are digging pay dirt about 35 feet from the swift river and going down anywhere from 5 to 10 feet to the hard pan clay where the gold is known to sit on..we are on the gold and just have to run a larger volume to make it pay..i did 3 small clean ups and found some nice pieces when dropped into an empty pail it made noice when hit the bottom. that was exciting to hear..i purchased a 1998 gmc half ton ...

... like this just don't get as many performers as larger cities, so when Sarah and I do our show in places like this, we feel the instant reward. It's amazing to expose kids to art who wouldn't otherwise get that opportunity. Everyone is just so appreciative of what we do.
