Lillooet was interesting as it was similar looking to some of the country we saw around Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. They apparently have quite mild winters and low rainfall. Last night we shared the campground with a school group that we think was in town for the gospel fest this weekend. They arrived in vans and proceeded to unload their tents and luggage from a rental van and we though - oh no - but what a quiet group. They spent the evening playing frisbee and this morning they walked past us on their way to church in the town. We hardly knew they were there.
