Where the desert meets the sea

... the past few days I have had a real problem with one of my wisdom teeth, and so tomorrow will have to find a dentist, Namibian style. Eek! It's all particularly annoying as I am scheduled to have them out on July 18th anyway.

After leaving here on Tuesday, we have a few more days camping, travelling through the Namib desert, and down into South Africa. A week today, we reach Cape Town, and this particular adventure ends!

... of Chinese then went back for another drink before going to see the 2 Rossendale lads and their piano playing in the Curzon. A good show and then up to the Crows nest for one which we took out to the Riviera pool area for the tropical deck party, nice and warm but a coolish breeze had some people moaning, just for a change. ... and camels en route. Some other travellers that we met back in Windhoek joined us for dinner. Great day all round! Early start this morning as we went to Walvis Bay for a trip out on a catameran, we had a few seals and pelicans join us onboard the boat. Finished off with champagne and oysters. Were making the most of the good cheap food here as we will be living off one meal a day in Auz! Now got a 5 hour coach ride back to Windhoek before tomorrows safari camping trip to ...

... minutes after we got to the pick up point, Manny was back to get us. He took us to the camp site where dinner was ready, and again, it was awesome. We hung around till 10:00 before retiring to our tents. 4:30 AM - Wednesday, November 26th I didn't sleep. I was in the tent, on a tiny mattress, with no pillow.
