... also at the GEIA conference- a student of a well known woman who's papers I've cited. One of the guys from NOAA had told me to meet her so as coincidence would have it, we were rooming together. I took a quick nap, then felt super motivated to get back out into the city for my last night, despite the bitter colllldddd. I said see you later when I left and that was the last I saw her. ??? Strange things.. she never came back.
Oslo, Oslo, Norway cariverga... After he heard that I had booked online he got a bit worried because he had booked over the phone and that was another 15 minutes worth of wondering out loud about the accuracy of their booking system.

We had chatted a couple of times over the 5 days I spent in New York and every time he managed to ask me exactly the same questions and tell me the exact same stories. He also did that thing where he kept ...
Oslo, Norway lingo83... Nick stayed back and manned the camera while Annie, Todd, and I got out there and danced away. We all had fun regardless of my hubby says. The highlight of the day was seeing the Stave church. It was dark, thick, and very masculine. There's no doubt that this was built in the Viking age. I absolutely loved it! When you shined the flashlight on the walls, you could see carvings that were hidden to the naked eye with natural light. Nick ...
Oslo, Oslo, Norway larzstarz... we got down to the restaurant it was already quite busy. We did manage to get seats to ourselves but were joined by others later after the general wake up. The offerings were comprehensive but it has to be admitted that we spent a lot of time around the Children's Buffet, because it was home to the pastries! After breakfast we had a bit over an hour before arriving in Oslo, time which I spent up on deck equipped with wet weather gear and gloves and also in more casual attire ...
Oslo, Oslo, Norway v1213... him. If the process was long and hot enough, maybe, but how could you explain why the Veal was cooked Medium, the beef Medium-Rare and the Pork Medium-Well, if they were all cooked at the same time. Hmmmm) Anyway, we were getting sideways glances from other passengers before this ('Well who do they think THEY are'), imagine the outright stares as the Executive Chef lit our dinner on fire in the dining room. Priceless. Next up was the cheese course. A baked ...
Oslo, Oslo, Norway simru12... left out of the restaurant to find what could only be described as drug alley with crack heads struggling to find veins one guy must have been on at least his 10th go by all the blood running down his arm. We return to yet another wet and windy night but this time with no heating as our LPG tank had run out and Norway it seems has never heard of it !!!!
Oslo, Oslo, Norway no1pablo... along the way i encountered plenty of wild deer. I also encountered lots of joggers running by. When i stopped to chat to a woman she was able to tell me that it was a race from Milngavie to Tyndrum and that the leader and winner had already finished. She also told me that the winner once ran the whole West Highland way to Fort William in 15hours, i was nearly bowled over with this statement, i think ill stick to the walking i said before i continued onwards. The hostel in ...
Oslo, Oslo, Norway talamarkoHei... :-) Today Melanie, Tadj and I hung around the house for a few hours the we went into Oslo. From there we visited Mel's old roomate Tova. Who was very nice and lived in this huge house that was built back in the day as a "house of the future" its a little architecture street thing. The house is very large and very cold... but it was really nice to chat with her.
Oslo, Norway leejes4... small pockets!) and later we discover a great comic book store in the train station. OH-MY-GOD!!! that's paradise for a comic lover like me!! We stay so engrossed that we have to run to take the bus if we don't want to loose the plane. Anyway, the flight delays one hour and fourty-five minutes (always the same!). The trip's finished and, as usually, it's hard to adapt to everyday life. Return to routine! :( I must start thinking in my next trip!
