A bright and early start this morning and it was goodbye Napier. It's a nice place, quiet and not a bad place to stop for the night. It is in the Hawkes Bay district, which is a pretty well known wine area but the extent of our wine country tour started and finished at the local supermarket. Before we left Queenstown and all the adventure activities we had one final trip and that was a visit to the Walter peak sheep station at the far end of the lake and to get there we boarded an old steamer named the Earnscliffe, the last one left on the lake still using coal powered boilers.
