On checking into the hotel in the afternoon I’d been told I was sharing my room with another guy, and at 12:30am I got a call from Reception letting me know he had arrived. Ken soon arrived in the room and we exchanged our stories. He had also come across from New South Wales and would be on my Contiki tour, and after chatting with him for a fair while I got to sleep sometime after 4am.
