Arriving in New Zealand after a really long but good flight with Air New Zealand, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite at the Pullman Auckland for our first night there. The plan was to take a quick shower and then go explore downtown Auckland before enjoying our sunset kayak to rangitoto island where we were going to hike up the dormant volcano, have a kiwi barbecue on the beach and then kayak back under the watchful gaze of the stars.
