... local foods including hńngm÷rade meat. The main course was served individually, but the sides (fries, cheese, salad, and crackers) were served family style. It was a great meal! After dinner, we stopped at a bakery to get a birthday dessert for Becca.

The rest of the night was spent unpacking and organizing my room/packing for our Spring Break trip that we leave for tomorrow! ...

... groceries (my arms were quite soar after that walk)! We made our tacos in the common area kitchen (luckily that tacos were great) so that long walk with the groceries was worth it. After eating, we all played Heads Up which was hilarious and then went to bed at 2AM (WOW I've been staying up late).

Fun Facts:

  • You have to pay to use public bathrooms
  • The shopping cart at the grocery store ...

... we haven't seen any behaviors that would require a second teacher. This also means that each class is co-taught.
The students at the school call us and their teachers by first names and that was a little bit of an adjustment. Our cooperating teacher, Elisabet, is only there 50% of the time. This means that she is there Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with Wednesdays for the whole school starting at 9 and ending at 1:45. Because of that, ...
