First Hotel Mora

I concluded my 2 month adventure with a 2 day visit to Anna's aunt Birgitta in Leksand, which is in the traditional Dalicarlian region of Sweden. The preparations, packing etc took place at my family's house in Älvdalen, Sweden. I moved all my things here. Not paying rent is important when travelling for long time. Story on At home

... most traditional in Sweden to experience the Maypole, little frog song & dance, pickled herring, schnapps, traditional Swedish attire and all other things midsommer. I wasn't quite far enough north to get the midnight sun, but it never got completely dark - at midnight I was able to walk around (in the forrest) without a flashlight.

A nice sunny drive south. Made quite a milage. Tired we rolled into Mora. Parked at the railwaystation by the lake. Walked for a bit, asked round for a good preice on accomodation. Found a Best Western. Had a few beers and settled in for the night.
