I do not think this is very wise as the whole point of drinking before and after a donation is to hydrate and rehydrate. Caffiene being an anti-diuretic will cause your kidneys to release extra water, seems contrary to the aim of the donor lounge and refreshments offered.

      The next morning AJ and BJ quickly scrambled off the couch when they heard the Daddy getting up and moving around the hotel room. He headed off to the bathroom for a shower and while they could hear the water running, AJ and BJ settled themselves down comfortably in the back-pack in preparation for another day out.

      Well, it turns out that domestic flights are much less painful than international! The security check was a breeze and I boarded the plane using my driver's license :) The flight took 4 hours and we landed in Calgary without any problems.
