      ... go back some time. We drove to Fort Henry instead and skyped my mum along the way. Nikki showed us where one of her friends fell in the moat there. Of course it was empty and he was drunk but he was there for two nights. Cheaper than a hotel I suppose. On the way back we picked up donuts and we made the Angel Delight for them that we had found in the British store. Today was our last day here. We are getting the bus to Whitby tonight ...

      During the initial Air Transat hop to Montreal, I think someone opened a window, because as the outside temperature approached minus 50, the cabin temperature lagged only slightly. On the tarmac in Montreal, the rain came in. Some passengers huddled together to build a fire using items from the snacks menu, but they were not quite stale enough to produce much warmth.

      When I was young, I know my limits (which can be a good thing), there's a distinct line I do not cross, because I know my parents are authorities that I cannot challenge.
