After a late rising, we enjoyed a long relaxed breakfast before being driven to the station, all over so soon! After all the discussions in our dorm in Geelong 5 years ago, true to my word I had finally joined Andrea for a Swedish midsummer! Not exactly true to tradition as I had missed making the Flower Crown, Frog dance and placing the flowers under my pillow to dream of my future husband (that's clearly where I went wrong) ...
... being outdoors with family and a BBQ. Lots of traditional foods; herring in sauce, BBQ, boiled potatoes, salads and wine. Dont forget the Schnapps, complete with typical Schnapps songs! Oh and strawberries with melted ice cream!!
