... spinach. They must've had a different Chef in as the food was even better than usual. The lamb especially was cooked to perfection. To avoid any dramatic outbursts, we refrained from drinking (too much) and had an early night, in preparation for my early flight.
It has been a truly amazing trip and I'm so glad that my parents decided to buy our family home here in Corfu. I imagine I will be spending of lot of time here and i can't wait to return.

... it's nice to mix it up occasionally. By the time we left at 11, the rest of Corfu had decided it was time for dinner. Not sure I could be a chef here, you'd never sleep. Not at night anyway.
It's our last day in corfu tomorrow.

Gun shot update : No sounds coming from dowstairs apartment anymore. Still silent. Been asking my myself, who really is Kaizer Soze ? Oops. I meant Michael Kaiser. Must be getting tired.

... time we'd all met up we were all in the need of a siesta.
We returned to place that cannot be named, (actually its called Mpakalogatos) and again opted for the pork knuckle and red peppers, but this time we also had the appropriately named 'drunkards mezze'. The food was excellent again, and the place was packed out. We left around 1am, and stumbled back home, full and just a little bit tipsy.

... case someone slipped and sent him rolling down the cobblestones.
We watched the bands march through the town, finally congregating in front the Lindon cafes. Here they stood in the rain and played in turn, then marched back into the city. The whole occasion was watched over by a large crowd of Greeks, both from Corfu and the mainland, who braved the rain and cheered the bands. It was definitely worth getting out of bed for. ...

    Corfu, Greece

... the beach, but we hung out at the beach bar all day until around 4 pm when we had to check out of the Pink Palace and start the long journey back to Florence. Corfu was hands down one of the best places we've visited so far. The people, the beach, the food, and the weather all made it such an enjoyable trip. But most of all it wouldn't have been Greece without staying at the Pink Palace: the number 1 party hostel in the world!
