Snow yesterday. No surprise, it's January in New Hampshire. So it's a lazy day today. I am trying out this Travel blog that my friend Elaine uses. That'll pass a few hours before the Pats AFC championship game against the Broncos ( I almost said Colts, forgetting Peyton is with a new team). Go Pats. On that trip I had an interested encounter, funny but not funny! I am sitting between a young man, maybe 30 and a lady around my age. It could be a stormy night but right now it is brisk and warm winds. September 19th-Wednesday- It blew very ...

... and the rain did not come back. Could there be any better seats??? We were level with the playing field with only a 2 foot retaining wall between us and the field! They are playing the Toronto Blue Jays for last place in the series! It was not a good year! I have not attended a ball game since the Salem Senators in the 40’s and 50’s. My granddad Jess and I attended nearly every game and I loved the games and the time the two of us spent together! Tonight ...

... A 4:45 flight to Detroit and a 3-hour layover before the 13-hour flight to Beijing. It'll be 11:00 PM Tuesday night when I arrive in Beijing. A quick night at the Langham Place Hotel at the Beijing airport and an 8:30 flight to Dalian. I'll be at my apartment by 11:00 AM and by noon I expect a bunch of my teammates to come and get me for lunch.

    This is really the ...
