Un'ora esatta e sono a Firenze: no acqua e no traffico; in senso contrario, qualche moto di rientro dal GP del Mugello.

It had only lasted for 6 months and 8,000 miles, that's not very good. Fortunately it's not a big job and didn't take too long. A quick check and yes we were totally leak free, but there was still a strong smell of diesel.

Our other heating doesn't have a thermostat so sometimes it gets too hot and then we have to switch it off. When we went to bed we set the timer for it to stay on for a few ...

We woke up to a much nicer day...and we set off again... We actually managed to get into Siena without the help of the sat nav...we found somewhere to park and set off to find the Duomo...we were quite early so we didn't have to queue as it had only just opened - again more beautiful frescos inside. The outside however was different to the others, this one was black and white striped marble and looked very impressive. We climbed ...

... and it was just delicious! We went for a wander to work it off before we sampled our next gelato and did a wee bit of wine tasting at the wine museum. We didn't really rate the wine though have had better :)
After our next Gelato and some more exploring it was time to head home, was quite sad as we drove off watching San Gimignano disappear in the background, a beautiful place and a must see!!

Orvieto's chief glory is its duomo, the splendid cathedral, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It was begun before 1285, perhaps by Arnolfo di Cambio, on the ...
