The Beginning of our Route Northward
... we set out to anchor in sand at a couple other positions where we could snorkel more patch reefs inside the horseshoe reef. Dave was exhausted at a point so Donna jumped one more time in the water to explore what appeared to be a couple more reefs but turned out to be large patches of a tough grass-like plant. ... that runs through my village which were nice and was only like an hour hike. Had a nice cigar in the middle of the river at the waterfall. peaceful until a Rosta came to shower and wash his clothes in the waterfall. I sat as he took care of his business, no problem.

Pirates, Volcano's and Carnivals
... and people splattered in blue paint. There was lots of drinking and dancing in the streets. We managed to find a bar to people watch and have a few drinks and some dinner. It was interesting but we were expecting the costumes and fun fair of a parade (it was on the Monday afternoon) so we headed back to the hotel (bliss).

Then it was off to Barbados and thence, on a tiny little plane, to Mustique. Charlie met us and we have had 2 wonderful weeks of this paradise island - tennis, yoga, walking, turtle nest digging, sun, sea, white sand, beautiful bays (mostly deserted), snorkelling and socialising (cocktail parties etc.) + lots of reading and siestas because doing nothing is sooo exhausting.
