... to board a small boat for a cruise down to Dalyan. We thought there might have only been a few on the boat, but by the time it left at 10am it was fully loaded with Turks, Dutch, French and two Australians. The waterfront and boardwalks have a great ambience and are full of great 'turkish style' open-air restaurants.

All in all I hugely enjoyed my time spent in Mugla. It is a small city with no tourists, however this gives you the chance to really explore the Turkish culture.
