First Stop
... by artist Elena Ballarini caught our eye. These are so masterful that they look like photographs! The artist’s father is the owner of the gallery and he spent time with us talking about his daughter and her art. Quite fascinating—check it out: www.wildlifeart.it. He was even kind enough to suggest a place for dinner and called in a reservation for us. What a lovely gesture and so welcoming.

I found out that the restaurant called California Bakery serves Thanksgiving dinner every year at its four or five locations. I sent an email to the reservations email and asked for a table for two and they quickly got back to me.
