I found out that during my walk of contemplation during that rugged Wednesday that I thought we weren't going to get financing that the spot where I stopped to grab some lunch from the wagon was no more than three blocks from where a new Ikea Mega Store is about to open! We have been contemplating what a little paint, tile, and spiffing will do to the place. It is going to be nothing short of breath taking!

... see amazing views of the surrounding countryside. It was certainly worth the price – breathtaking! We were looking down on the flying birds below. Since Montepulciano is atop a tall hill, you can imagine the view from its highest point!

After checking out of Gusmay, we drove on the autostrade north to Pescara. The country side was the typical olive trees and vineyard landscape. Beautiful and John loved going fast (150kph) with drivers that know how to drive.
