... the people! We went to the opposite end of the city and looked at a beautiful park, saw the Glasgow university (looked a lot like Hogwarts) and just roamed around stores! ... Scotland what a thrill. The car was picked up as early as we could get there & we were off. After a brief but animated discussion on navigation & the ways in which it should be conducted we do a U-turn & are now heading in the right direction!!

It was a very short trip to Glasgow on the train! After settling into our cheap little hotel lodge we went back to the train station and bought a ticket to Prestwick! Prestwick is a wee town where my mum was born. The view from the train was misty skies, rough oceans and many long, green golf courses! It took just under an hour to get there and stepping out into the rain we wandered into the town.

... on 3.30pm as I reckon it's a good time for us to be sober, wide awake, out and about and probably engaged in an activity, and it'll still be daylight too.

I'll put up one to start with, which was taken as we had around an hour left on our flight from Heathrow to Bangkok, on 13/11/11.
