      ... a violin whilst walking up and down a tight rope - forward and backward. Plenty of people playing bagpipes all around the city, with a blend of traditional and more modern upbeat tunes. Amongst them,there were these three Scots lads playing their bagpipes and drums, and at the same time doing a bit of a jig - check out their video.....pretty funny.

      Dad and I set off from the flat this morning at 5.45am to arrive at Glasgow international around 6.15am. Check in went surprisingly smoothly, as did security! 7h15 flight direct to Newark international with plenty of new films to keep me occupied, firstly Brave! (Then pitch perfect...both great!) Craig had a nightmare getting onto the plane, who would have thought that the only boy on the trip would be the one to over pack?!! The flight hit a bit of turbulence ...

      It was a very short trip to Glasgow on the train! After settling into our cheap little hotel lodge we went back to the train station and bought a ticket to Prestwick! Prestwick is a wee town where my mum was born. The view from the train was misty skies, rough oceans and many long, green golf courses! It took just under an hour to get there and stepping out into the rain we wandered into the town.
