Finally sitting in the train to Russia. I just enjoyed the perfect morning coffee like every morning, only that this time I was drinking it from the bottle and watching the Finnish country side passing by. I have four seats for myself which is quite nice and even wireless internet connection. I bet this is the only time I am gonna have such a luxurious train ride. :) All ...

... a great day and because we had driven past Lahti, were only about 45minutes from AK&Z so Sunday we drove to Jarvenpaa in the morning and returned to Kangasala in the afternoon.

Sunday evening we had our last sauna in Finland when we stopped with Pekka & family again, returned our hire car Monday morning and took a train back to Jarvenpaa. Time here in Finland is getting short now with only about a week to go........has all been wonderful.

... Denmark fans?), as well as a group of about 20 blokes who were standing in the open air end (getting very wet as it poured down through most of the game) who were able to get the whole crowd responding to their chants. No idea what they were saying to get a response, but it got a huge 'Suomi' from the crowd in reply. Fab, entertaining evening rounded off by blueberries, strawberries and Moomin biscuits (must buy more of them, they're lovely).

... mummo, having a lovely last lunch with Virpi in an old bank building-tea room! Monday night, Timo and Eeva show me their old motorbikes! They are amazing, completely original. I can even try out the small Honda Monky! Unfortunately can only spend little time with them as after it is time for my last Sauna! It's one of the coziest sauna buildings I have seen in Suomi! Timo and Annmarie even thought of the makkara! After a great after-sauna meal and lots of talks it is time ...
