Porvoo is the second oldest town in Finland. I have been waiting to go there since I arrived in Finland but was waiting for a spring day. After an extra hours sleep due to a time change we got up and sorted ourselves out for our shore excursion. Today is the start of the summer solstice celebrations in Finland which last 3 days so most of the businesses were closed. On the way back from Emäsalo our friends took us to a restaurant called Blini for "the closest thing to real Russian food if you can't get to Russia on this trip." Both our thin potato pancake-based dishes were delicious.

The final date of the tour, we were joined by a local band who were sick, but sadly I don't remember their name :-(
We got there about tea time n after sound check - local band had brought an entire PA, mixer, light rig AND stage - we got fed and watered. The Hotel folks kept the free beer coming and the food was excellent, definitely a great last meal for the tour!

Here is our final day in Scandinavia - the last walk in Finland. It was a wonderful nature walk, though I think next time, we'll cut back on the the amount of the trail that's in the forest and include some walking through the medieval core and along the river in Porvoo.
