Today we were up early again as we had reserved a wine tour. Our breakfast consisted of egg panini, buns, sweet bread, and yogurt with honey and cornflakes again.

We met our tour guide for the day; a sommelier named Michalis from Santorini Wine Adventure, up near the church at 9:00am.

There were eight of us on the tour, the other six consisting of a couple from the United States, a couple from New Zealand and a couple from Indonesia. Turned out to be a really ...

... the sun was out, there was no wind and it was in the 30Cs. So we skipped lunch and just laid by the pool and had more wine. ... spent the journey sitting on their luggage in the aisles and after all that it was rescheduled by an hour and even then arrived an hour and a half after the revised scheduled time.

I called the hotel staff who were going to pick us up on Santorini to tell them we’d be late. They already knew this, and when I told them the new scheduled arrival time was 3:30PM they said 'OK, so ...

    ... cool!.....

It's now monday, and I'm waiting for my transfer to the port for long long ferry to Athens. I really wish I'd booked one more night on this island - I've just loved it here and not ready to leave. Oh well, Athens is going to be a dirty ****-hole, so this is a really nice prelude and will hopefully carry me serenely through another dirty city! But, only three more sleeps til I go home, so the end is ...
