... an experience, on many levels. First, the approach is awesome... one feels as though the pilot is about to drop the plane right into the sea but secondly, and the one that Jenny was most intrigued by was, there was no customs. In fact, they never even handed out customs/immigration cards on the flight. There was one lone immigration officer stamping passports and that was it. ... that our hotel pointed us to was fantastic, with all of the staff making us feel right at home they recommended amazing dishes and we very quickly realized that especially as far as the food was concerned we were going to love our time in Greece!

... donkeys travel down the insane staircase every morning to pick up the cruise people. That would be the day I rode a donkey anywhere, especially up and down a cliff. For dinner we took our hotel's receptionists advice and when to a quaint restaurant very high up to watch the sunset. We were told to try the Moussaka there as they had the best and it was not a let down.. Imagine, Greece has the best Greek food!! The sunset ...

... is not to fall down the hundreds of stairs as you marvel at the views. It’s a pretty difficult task, and I only just managed to survive my 3 days there. I caught myself from at least a few major mishaps. I’m sure the balance practice I’ve had all summer climbing into wobbly rowing shells has paid off in spades.
