The ferry to Ios only took us 45 minutes so we arrived with the day ahead of us. Gemma and I checked into our room which was similar to the Mykonos accommodation but with airconditioning (yay) unfortunately it was also up a very steep hill.

Gemma wanted to go and book some water sports for the next day so I had some time to myself and sat at the restaurant next ...

He kept telling us he had "the best of the best meatballs", so Walt wanted to try them out. We started out by having some Greek coffee. ...

Well the last of the Greek islands is under our belt and Ios definitely lived up to its crazy party island name. There is not a lot do here except drink, beach and watersports. There is no life to be found in Ios before midday it's like a ghost town, everyone is sleeping off their hangovers! We are staying at a resort that has a pool bar and lounges which is where we ...

... some cold refreshments. Well-deserved may I say as it was very hot.

After relaxing there overlooking this beautiful sea, we decided that we should be making our way back to the town centre and onto our ship. I decided not to go with Mary on the Cable car and walked down the same way I had come up on a donkey. It was a long journey…apparently 800 steps with 2-3 strides per step but it wasn’t too tiring…if fact it was good fun looking at the ...
