We were allowed a slight sleep in this morning and used the extra hour
to go for a walk around Exeter Cathedral which is just behind the hotel.
After this we drove down to Polperro , a small fishing village. More
tourist than fishing I suspect now. Very pretty town , picture postcard
stuff. Houses glued to the steep sides of the harbor. Time for a walk
around and some lunch. Beautiful bright blue skies and ...

... Anyway new chain and sprockets, new tyres (Mitas E10 rear and TKC front), new fully synthetic oil and she was ready. We awake to another grey day, but some bits of blue are peaking through so it might be a good day. I can hear the birds twittering away and of course our neighbouring guests preparing for their day too! The walls are obviously not as thick as the stone would suggest, but it has been a pleasant retreat for three days all the same. We are the only ones at breakfast today and find out that our rowdy neighbours are a gaggle of golfers here for the weekend and due on the green ...

    Another beautiful day in Devon!!!

We awake to a cloudy, foggy, rainy and generally miserable looking day today so I don't think we will be doing much! We had planned to drive to Lands End which is 100 miles away but somehow I don't think it would be very pleasant. So coffee, blogging, reading the paper, breakfast before we re think the day. We have a big breakfast today - I want to try the local bacon. Mmmmm- it's OK but not as flavoursome as I remember. Everywhere we've been in Devon, the eateries take ...
