... hostel and again just chilled trying another Japanese beer . We then decided that we couldn't avoid trying Okinomiyaki which is famous to Osaka . We went to a restaurant and they cooked the Okinomiyaki for us and then put it on the hot plate in front of it. Even though it was so small it was thick and very filling . And now on to our second day off in Matsumoto. I thought originally that I would be able to include both days in one entry, but I am rather more loquacious than I anticipated (go figure) so you are now fortunate or unfortunate to be able to read about another sightseeing extravaganza in Matsumoto!

Thankfully our schedule is so flexible that missing the train means hanging out on the platform waiting for the next one which typically arrives within 20 minutes to an hour, depending on station size.
