    ... to dry figs on and make perfect kindling, but Seb's boss doesn't like to scratch his (expensive) car when (rarely) visiting the finca, so it was necessary to cut back the verges and my job to lop down these amazing plants.     This morning, we drove northeast to the town of Petra where Father Junipero Serra was born and raised. Like all the other towns on Mallorca, Petra is clean and lovely. The area surrounding Petra is beautiful agricultural land, with many orchards and beautiful fields. Then, it was time to head to the airport and leave Mallorca for Mallaga in the Costa del Sol.
