Almost exactly thirty years ago my parents enjoyed a week on the island of Mallorca. They both remember it fondly, especially because it snowed! The other night, Mum pulled up the ancient slide projector screen and we snuggled down for a slide show of their holiday snaps. The hotel we stayed at was NICE!!! We stayed in the Orange Colom Seaside Apartments. We had a nice apartment with a long balcony overlooking the ocean. What a beautiful view from our apartment! We could see the famous lighthouse that is still in use.

Dress code for tonight's dinner is Black & White night. ...

They have a pearl store across the way (I guess this island is big on pearls?) I take a walk through but it is your typical sell to tourist (and gaudy) stuff.

We get back on the bus and end our tour down in the city center by the Gothic cathedral. We really don't have enough time to go in the ...

... time! After some deliberation we decided from day one to choose a drinks package from one of the three on offer. On Norwegian we had bought a wine package but any bar drinks and coffees we bought separately. They did offer Happy hours which do not exist on MSC. The package we chose is €23 a day each and includes wine by the glass from a selection of 2 whites, 2 reds a rose and two sparklings. In addition most of the cocktails and spirits are included as well ...
