... Groups of people doing aerobics, spin classes, boot camp, it was exercise central. I briefly considered joining in on the spinning, but only briefly :) I ended up seated facing the water at the Hard Rock Cafe to take advantage of the good wether... I know, not exactly local cuisine and in fact I think it's only travellers who ever go visit them. But one of the folks I was biking with was wandering in town as well so we chatted over a drink before heading out on our separate ...

Mallorca is a stunning island if you like picturesque villages, beautiful coastlines, acres of almond and citrus orchards... Not to mention the ...

Aptly named, this mostly flat route has the bonus of stopping at a well-known restaurant for fantastic cakes at the midpoint. I'll be honest, while it was nice to be back on the bike again, visiting the shop and seeing how much pride the creator of these goodies had with her wares... And the joy in parsing them up for people to consume was a close second. Did I mention that at 95km in length, this ...

A drive along the coast to Santinyl beach for lunch and a swim in the sea for Tony. Afternoon by the pool before dinner in a local restaurant. Very early start tomorrow as need to drop car off and be at airport for 5am for our flight to Venice via Madrid. Dad leaves resort in a taxi at lunchtime tomorrow for a late afternoon flight to ...
