Lovely little place where Columbus stopped for water on his voyages. Went for a walk and found a bar with wifi. When we got back to the ship we had a very late lunch at about 2.15. Didn't bother with a sweet as afternoon tea started at 2.30 so had a tea cake and cakes instead. In the evening went to the dancing after champagne at the jewellery store. We'd got an invite but didn't buy anything. Then late night ...

We rode 25 miles today with elevation gains of 2235 ft. We spent our afternoon in the hot ...

... up with the vans and our bikes everyone got themselves ready to ride. I took the shuttle past the first big climb to avoid the big downhill ride. Martin was thrilled to get some good down hill time that he earned with a climb. The ride thru the National park is actually the crater of a volcano. It seems a lot like you are on the moon with rocks and little vegetation. The bus and car traffic was very heavy and we passed a gondola station were ...

Partying the night before having to catch a flight the next day, is never such a good idea in hindsight. We got back about 3:30 and had to pack. Bye bye Tenerife, the dream ends for now at least. I said an optimistic goodbye to Darina who is staying in Tenerife, but at an apartment, and also said goodbye to Cecile, Brian, Miguel and Patrick, just some of the nice people I met. The ...
