    Found 5* campsite in Benicasim (cheaper than last stop!!), stayed 2 nights, would have stayed more but pitch not great and tree cutting a bit annoying. More like a resort, lots of Brits overwintering.

    A good clean of the van and washing done, Penny now much more relaxed!!

    Did a 10km bike ride along the prom, very pleasant indeed and a beautiful coastline scene.

    First time in years Penny has worn shorts and ...

    ... been tome to call it a day! Didn't happen -
    got lost in the street system trying to stay in a small town near Valencia - couldn't find any hotels - found the highway (stopped to ask - no English spoken but we were only 100easy metres from the entrance to the freeway - whew -and off we go again!!)     ... so beloved of the female of the species, I am expected to "support", her in her efforts, which, in male speak means suffer alongside her.

    I ask you, what fun is there in that?

    For today, I have circumvented the rules, under the pretence of going for a healthy walk along the coast (2.5 miles) took her to lunch, ordered a bottle of wine before she could object.

    Packing started, well, scooter loaded onto it's trailer and positioned ready for hitch-up.

    I am not sure why we cycled nine miles to see it, we hardly ever buy anything at the market, but, it is buzzing and interesting.

    A stop to quench our thirst on the way back, then spend the rest of the day, eating and drinking.
