This poverty, while existent throughout the country, is not quite as apparent in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Cordoba and Argentina's other major cities. Santiago is a big and sprawling town that also has some modern construction and nice streets ...

Aussi nous traversons des paysages arides totalement differents : des steppes, des oasis, des deserts de sel, de la haute montagne... La descente dans la vallee est tout aussi magnifique : cactus, montagnes rouges, pentes vertigineuses. Nous arrivons a Salta de nuit les yeux pleins de beaux paysages. On trouve une auberge directement a la gare ou nous allons dormir apres une bonne pizza.
