... Laguna, the doctors were very concerned about the baby's development, but they induced her labor (for reasons I don't really know the details of). She ended up having the baby at 26 weeks--last Friday--and now she's recovering on the unit. Yesterday was my last day in internal medicine at the hospital, and I had a really amazing last day! Paco and I continued checking in on patients as we have throughout the week, and I was excited to see how all the patients' health issues are progressing.

... soup, fried cheese with honey and basil sauces, huge plates of chicken and ribs, and then finished the whole thing off with some cake.
