It had started to rain and as we sat outside with the mist of the rain, the intoxicating smell of freshly-roasted coffee, stirring it and tasting the beans, which would burst and crunch in your mouth. Pedro ground the still-warm beans and made us the best espresso I've ever had. Since there were only 5 of us, we each had seconds.
