I decided to catch a bus through Pereira on Saturday morning and spent Friday night on the main plaza with some friends from Plantation House. ... and grabbed a jeep for a few soles each that would take us to the entrance to the park. When we got there (or where we thought was 'there') we jumped out of the jeep and started walking. There weren't any maps of information about which direction to go and we probably should have done some more homework ahead of time because we had absolutely no idea which path to take or where to go.
So we just started walking ...

The main purpose of the trip however was to spend time with his family. This of course, was the best part of the trip. Hanging at his family home, playing with the cutest white kittens ever and catching up on old times with the friends and neighbors that came by. I can't understand Spanish very well....but seeing a huge smile on Dario's face made me happy too. He was home.
