(L) As Deb says we had a dream run from Kastraki to the Pelion. We left at 9.15 am and were there in about 3 hours. ... spot I regret that we did not go much earlier and stay longer. There is a path from the beach leading to a small chapel -I won't miss it the next time I am up there though!
Have in mind that there is a very small humble tavern somewhere around ….I miss the name now, but it is quite popular and its worth going there for a drink or some fresh fish (catch of the day) since the owner catches them ...
... short way is to come to the Old Bridge Café which is difficult to be missed. I climbed down the steps and walked a few metres down the coomb and came to the bridge.
I feel it is no need to comment about the beauty of the area since you can see much of it through my photos. So be my guest…….
Oh yes, the old stone arched bridge was built in 1987 by the way.

You reach the kiosk, turn right and then follow a narrow path downhill to get to the village of Lambinou.
Continue downhill on kalderimi to Lambidona monastery and end up at Lambinou beach.
It is an amazing 3.50 minute walk.
This is a provisional route containing several detours because there are times when sections of the original path remain blocked by vegetation.
