Hop on Hop off Bus
... to climb to get up to the front of the palace...but fortunately we found a shorter way down. No...I did not fall down...there were many less steps at the back of the palace.
We had dinner in the old Dutch part of the city, which was excellent. Tonight (Friday) we are going on a dinner cruise. The weather is looking overcast at the moment, but I hope the sun comes out later.

... chinois et un château.
C'est vraiment un bel endroit où marcher. Parfois dans la forêt, parfois dans la cours de palais, c'est spectaculaire. Et pour marcher, nous en avons encore une fois marché une "shot". Beaucoup de sentiers à arpenter pour tout voir ce que nous devions voir. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les jardins en palier du château Sans-Souci qui appartenait à Frédéric II ...
Obsessed with Berlin
... and I were both pretty tired, so we had an early night and slept in on Thursday (which was much-needed). We then headed into the city center of Berlin to look at the main tourist sights and wandered around for a good 3 hours trying to find a place to eat. Berlin, poor but sexy
... a gravel carpark...and not by accident. We visited some of the old Nazi buildings in the area too, while most were destroyed during and after the war, some buildings remain, including the former Luftwaffe head quarters and a small building that used to house the transportation department. Berlin so far
... 8217;t go out last night, it seems there is nowhere that plays normal music and I just can’t do the heavy techno, pill taking, electronica music that exists here. Plus, the time to go out here is something ridiculous like 3am which is normally when a night ends for me. :-S
